Pregnancy, birth and the first time with the baby are very special times.
For most parents this entails an unprecedented level of new experiences and feelings.
These can range from great love and happiness, to uncertainty,
overwhelm and sadness – it is not uncommon for several (or all) states and
emotions to occur more or less simultaneously.

In most families, the process of change from couple to family, from individual to parent, from single-child to multi-child family does not run entirely smoothly. During this time, situations can arise in which parents feel helpless, powerless and overwhelmed. With the work of Emotional First Aid (EEH) according to Thomas Harms I offer support already in pregnancy and in the time after birth. In this context, bonding support, attachement topics, support for families with inconsolably crying babies as well as the processing of overwhelming experiences from pregnancy, birth and postpartum are central in my work. The focus is on the (re)discovery of one's own resources, the development of one's own regulatory capacity and the support of a loving parent-child bond.
